Pink Hill Raises Money to Battle Cancer

E-mail Print PDF

ph_mathThe fifth grade students at Pink Hill Elementary School recently participated in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Math-a-Thon program. The children raised $1,491.50 to help kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases at St. Jude, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers. Math-a-Thon allows students to build and practice essential math skills while they raise necessary funds for continuing research at the hospital. The Pink Hill community supported Pink Hill Elementary school fifth graders by making donations in honor of their participation in the program.

We are very proud of our fifth graders for working so hard to raise money for St. Jude through the Math-a-Thon. Our school, students, and community have helped St. Jude in its work to find cures and save children.
